“That’s why I was so determined to start my own practice; so I could control the entire experience and run a dental practice my way.”

Dr. Bower opened Fresh Smiles in May of 2018 with an office designed for “patient comfort and convenience.”

“Our customers don’t have to call, they can schedule their appointment right online. And when they come in, our waiting area greets them with amenities like a fully stocked coffee and tea station, mood lighting and massage chairs.”

And at Fresh Smiles, the wow-factor of synergy between dentistry and technology goes far beyond the waiting room.

“As a younger Dentist, I lean heavily on technology as a pillar for my practice style. We take digital scans of our patients teeth and we use that as a tool to show them what is happening in their mouth. It bridges the gap between a patient just taking my word for it, to them building trust instantly with me because I’m actually showing them what is happening as I explain it. Technology also allows us to be more precise in everything we do, like the fit of a crown or dentures. It also makes it a more pleasant experience for the patient. Historically, to take impressions of someone’s teeth, you have to put a molding filled with goop in their mouth for 7-10 minutes…now I can use a wand and do a digital scan in 90 seconds, no goop!”

This next-level experience is becoming a trademark of Fresh Smiles, but that’s only part of the story behind their rapid growth.

“I contribute that not only to the warm and inviting space and technology, but to how we actually care for our patients,” says Dr. Bowers

“The first few months have been amazing. We have patients who are trying us out after using the same dentist for 20 years, and after the very first visit, are comfortable leaving that relationship and coming here.

“We have these first-time customers referring friends and co-workers and we are up to 38 five-star reviews in such a short amount of time. It just feels great to deliver on what you set out to provide.

“We are believers that dentistry has to be as perfect as possible. I treat every patient like it’s my wife or mother. The level of care and effort we give is 100% for every person who comes through our doors.”

“We have a few ways that we give back to our Montgomery County community,” explained Dr. Bowers. “For starters, we offer free custom mouthguards for all students playing on high school sports teams. As the former dentist for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, I know first hand how important those mouthguards are. We also participate in the Philadelphia-based charity SHARE who works to provide meals to needy people. Every time we see a new patient for an exam and hygiene appointment, we donate $25 to SHARE.”
