Today, The Homer Group provides its customers with digital and offset printing, graphic design, mailing and distribution, fulfillment, and promotional product services.
The Homer Group was founded in 1963 by Bernie Homer as a photo finishing business called Homer Photo Labs. As technologies and trends evolved, so did Bernie’s business. The photo finishing lab evolved into a printing company, and in the late 1970s, Homer Printing became the first printing company in the Philadelphia area to use computers for design. It’s also when they purchased their current office in Trooper, PA after having locations in Philadelphia, Jenkintown, Norristown, and King of Prussia. Guy Homer joined The Homer Group in the 1980s, and together, Bernie and Guy continued to grow the business. In 1994, The Homer Group brought on a website developer and built its first website. Kevin Homer, the third generation of Homers, joined The Homer Group in 2008 and began to rebrand the printing company as a marketing agency. The agency took off, and in 2014, they established their sister company, called Navitas Marketing – A Creative Marketing & Digital Agency.
Today, Guy and Kevin Homer continue to grow their business by finding ways to offer exceptional quality and very fair prices, great customer service, and seamless integration between their marketing agency and printing company. The newer services they’ve begun offering, such as their increased focus on fulfillment services, has also been an area of growth over the past few years. One would be hard-pressed to find a business in Montgomery County that hasn’t been somehow connected to The Homer Group, either through business or community involvement.
